Images of people or places displayed on the Site are either the property of or used with permission by New Movements AS. The use of these images by you, or anyone else authorized by you, is prohibited unless specifically permitted by these Terms and Conditions or specific permission provided elsewhere on the Site. Any unauthorized use of the images may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.

Inaccuracy Disclaimer

From time to time there may be information on the Site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. Without limiting its rights provided elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions, New Movements AS reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We have made every effort to display the colors of products as accurately as possible. However, we can’t guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

Submissions

Any communication or material you transmit to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise, will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy Privacy Policy. By transmitting or posting any communications or materials to this site, you agree that New Movements AS or any of its affiliates may use your communications or materials for any purpose, including reproduction, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting. New Movements AS and its affiliates are free to use any ideas, concepts or know-how contained in such communications or materials for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to developing, manufacturing, distributing and marketing products using such information. You agree that no materials you submit on the Site will violate any rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary rights. You are and shall remain solely response for the content of any materials you submit to or post on the Site.

Order Acceptance and Shipment

Your placement of an order does not necessarily assure that we will accept it. New Movements AS may require additional information for order completion. While we strive to process orders promptly, we cannot guarantee specific processing or delivery dates. The Site does not accept orders from dealers, wholesalers, or those intending to resell items (or where we suspect such activity). 

User Conduct and Security

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to take any action that might compromise the security of the Site, render the Site inaccessible to others, or otherwise cause damage to the Site or its content. New Movements AS specifically prohibits you from engaging in any of the following activities on the Site:

Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. New Movements AS will investigate and may involve law enforcement authorities in prosecuting the user or users who are involved in such violations.

Termination of Access

New Movements AS may terminate your access, or suspend your access to all or part of the Site, without notice, in New Movements AS sole discretion. Such termination or suspension of access may occur, without limitation, for any conduct that New Movements AS, in its sole discretion, believes is a violation of these Terms and Conditions, is in violation of any applicable law, or is harmful to the interests of another user, customer, recipient, licensor, content or service provider, New Movements AS, or its affiliates.

Waiver and Severability

The failure of New Movements AS to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Shopping

INTERNATIONAL: New Movements AS is registered (NO920443664), and operates out of Norway, under Norwegian law. The sales tax may most likely not be refundable or deductible in your country, local exceptions may apply. All products are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to a private persons delivery address.

EUROPEAN UNION: New Movements AS is registered (NO920443664), and operates out of Norway, under Norwegian law. All shipments to our EU residents will be automatically invoiced with the local VAT of 25% in the receiving country included in the price. The sales tax may most likely not be refundable or deductible in your country, local exceptions may apply. All products are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to a private person within the EU. You can use credit cards: VISA, Mastercard and Diners Club. Purchases can only be made in the currency available for the country where you choose your delivery to be made.

NORWAY: New Movements AS is registered (NO920443664), and operates out of Norway, under Norwegian law. Therefore all shipments to Norwegian residents will be automatically invoiced with the Norwegian MVA of 25% included in the price. All products are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to a private person in Norway.

NM Warranty Policy

1. What does the warranty cover?

All physical products manufactured by New Movements AS and purchased directly from New Movements AS on newmovements.com or from New Movements AS authorized resellers. New Movements AS follows the “Consumer Purchases Act

” in relation to orders made from Norway & the “Consumer rights directive” for all purchases made.

The Warranty is limited to manufacturing defects, meaning any deviation from design specifications during production of the Product resulting in a Product's defect, frailty or shortcoming during normal use ("Defects").  These include, but are not limited to:

  • Tears or breaks in the construction

  • Defective zippers, seams and lace eyelets.

  • Tears in fabric that affect functionality

  • Broken or non-functional structural trims.

  • Defective waterproofing (on relevant products).

The warranty also covers damages caused by transport and transit from our factory or warehouse to the original point of sale or customer.

This Warranty is valid only for the period of time the Product is owned by the original purchaser or recipient (if gift) of the Product.


If your Product is damaged in a way that is covered by the Warranty, New Movements AS will determine the most suitable remedy based on the condition and product availability. This may include:

  • Repair of the original product

  • Replacement with a new or refurbished product of equivalent type and value

  • Provision of a replacement part, if appropriate and feasible

All costs, including transportation costs will be covered by New Movements AS.

2. Warranty Coverage (the "Warranty Period")

Your product is covered by your statutory rights as defined under national consumer protection laws. These typically include a 2-year warranty period.

3. What does the warranty not cover?

The Product shall be handled with due care. The Warranty does not cover wear and tear, resulting from an abnormally harsh use or use that is not compatible with the Product's intended use. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Wear and tear caused by normal use

  • Damage from abuse, misuse, neglect, or use outside intended purposes

  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, abrasions, fading

  • Damages from customization (e.g., embroidery, paint, or patches)

  • Product loss or theft

  • Multiple repeated claims for the same issue after an initial warranty repair or replacement has already been provided


Damages caused by transport or handling during air travel, including checked-in luggage handling are not covered by this Warranty.

RIMELIG TID: The Warranty must be claimed no later than two (2) weeks after the damage occurred. Increased damages due to a lack of claim are not covered by the Warranty.

Repairs or replacement of damages of the Product will not extend the Warranty Period. Any repairs or replacements are only covered by the Warranty for the remains of the Warranty Period.

If your Product has damage that is not covered by the Warranty, you may request New Movements to repair the damage at an estimated price. Please contact our customer service.

4. How to submit a warranty claim?

When filing a Warranty claim you must provide clear photographic evidence of any Defect in order for New Movements AS to assess if the Warranty claim shall be approved or dismissed.

Claims must be submitted no later than two (2) weeks after the damage occurs. Claims submitted later may be rejected due to insufficient information for proper evaluation.

Warranty: 

Cosmetic flaws noted in the listing and accepted at purchase are excluded. You have your statutory rights under national consumer protection laws, typically ranging from 2 years with possible extensions depending on local legislation. You acknowledge that resale items are second-hand, used, and sold “as is” with full transparency about their condition (see “Nature of Goods”).

Returns: 

Items purchased from our website (http://www.newmovements.com) may be returned within 14 days (10 days, if purchased in store) with receipt, provided they are in the same condition as when received. We encourage conscious shopping to reduce unnecessary transport and environmental impact – if you’re unsure, our team will assist you.

Repair Service Terms

1. Service Scope: 

New Movements AS offers repair services for most boots, loafers, sneakers, and sandals. Covered services include, but not limited to:

  • Functional repairs (e.g., loops, laces, sole replacements, stitching/seams)

  • Cleaning services (e.g. waterproofing treatment, leather conditioning, sole cleaning, light clean)

2. Service terms

  • If no fault is found with the product, the customer will be charged a diagnostic fee.

  • If the defect is not covered by the statutory warranty (right of complaint), if hidden damage is discovered that prevents the agreed repair from being carried out, or if the repair cannot be completed for other reasons (for example, if spare parts are no longer available for the product), the customer will be charged for the troubleshooting/diagnostic work. Defects not covered include, but are not limited to, wear and tear, oil damage, and faults resulting from abnormal use.

  • Repair of a damaged product does not necessarily restore its water resistance to the level it had at the time of purchase.

  • Items not collected within three (3) months will be sold or disposed of in accordance with the provisions in the Act of 29 May 1953 relating to the right of craftsmen and others to sell uncollected goods.

3. Assessment and Pricing:

  • Customers receive an instant estimate, subject to possible price changes after delivery. 

  • Prices are all-inclusive, covering labour and spare parts.

  • Transport costs are billed separately unless covered under warranty.

4. Customer Approval and Cancellation:

  • The customer has a binding obligation to pay for the repair even after possible price fluctuations, in order to have the product returned.

  • If the actual condition differs from the original submission, we will share a revised price.

  • Items with heavy contamination not disclosed during registration may incur additional cleaning charges or be rejected.

5. Shipping Liability: 

  • New Movements AS covers damage caused during shipping to and from our repair center if properly documented.

  • Claims must be submitted with clear photos of the item and packaging upon arrival.

  • Confirmed transport damage will be repaired free of charge.

6. Warranty Coverage:

a) Product Under Warranty

If the product is still within its original statutory warranty period, and the issue is covered, New Movements AS will repair it free of charge, including shipping.

All warranty claims require the item to be sent to our repair center.

  • If a repair is not possible, a replacement product will be offered, but only after the damaged product has been received and analyzed.

  • New Movements AS will retain the damaged item in all such replacement cases.

b) Product Out of Warranty

If the product is no longer under warranty, the customer must pay for the repair.

A 6-month warranty applies to the specific repair performed, starting from the date the item is returned.

This repair warranty

  • Covers only the repaired part or area, not the rest of the product

  • Does not reset or extend the original product warranty

  • Does not apply to misuse, new damage, or normal wear and tear

7. Repair Visibility

By agreeing to these terms, customers acknowledge and accept that some repairs may be visibly noticeable.

New Movements AS will always aim for a clean and durable repair and restore the product’s full functionality, but cosmetic differences may remain due to material type, stitching, and age of the item.
