Oslo Runway by Night: Guttestreker x OA Studio at New Movements

Meet the people behind the work and get a chance to win a signed Illustrated Philosophy Guttestreker Book and a pair of New Movements sneakers of your choice.

In celebration of Oslo Runway, New Movements is opening its doors to Norwegian art and design. All week, we're inviting Guttestreker and OA Studio into our space at Steen & Strøm, where selected artworks, furniture and objects will take their place alongside our latest collection.

Guttestreker, consisting of Petter Malterud Grøndahl and Christoffer Kroge Christensen, has collaborated since a late night drawing session in the fall of 2015. Their collective artistic vision quickly materialised and has since made them a household name in the Norwegian capital. While neither of them having a formal artistic education has given them a non-traditional approach to art, and their method and creative process is anchored in what they refer to as Illustrated Philosophy.

OA Studio is a local architecture studio run by Ole Dalheim and Arman Sellæg, both with backgrounds from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. They specialise in architecture and objects, and are at their best working close to the materials. They're involved in the entire process, which gives them the know-how to create cohesive, tailor-made projects.

On Thursday September 3rd, during Oslo Runway by Night, you'll have the chance to meet the people behind the work. Between 4 and 7 PM, we're welcoming everyone in for a chat, a look around - and a glass from Egge Gård.

Everyone who stops by has a chance to win a signed Illustrated Philosophy Guttestreker Book and a pair of New Movements sneakers of your choice.

Space in the store is limited. Register here.
