New Movements enters the heart of Oslo fashion scene with a grand opening of a new store at Steen & Strøm.

Oslo, August 12th, 2023 – New Movements, the Norwegian footwear brand, is excited to announce the much-anticipated opening of its flagship store on the 1st floor of Steen & Strøm, Scandinavia's oldest department store, on August 15, 2023.

This remarkable milestone marks the next chapter for New Movements as it establishes a prominent presence in the heart of Oslo's fashion scene. The purpose-built store is a testament to the brand's core values, inviting engaging customer experiences that seamlessly blend circular fashion with modern aesthetics.

A Hub of Inspiration and Human Connections

Visitors to the New Movements store can expect an inspiring environment. From carefully curated displays of sustainable, recycled, and organic materials to presentations showcasing the journey from raw material to finished product, the store offers an exciting glimpse into the world of circular creation.

The store will serve as a hub for shoe, design, and fashion enthusiasts. Located on the 1st floor next to Mulberry, the 106 square meter space features four large windows facing Prinsens gate. The walls in light veneer and thick wooden furniture are inspired by local nature, creating a warm and Nordic atmosphere. The custom-built shelving systems, without glue or screws, are filled with products made from recycled materials such as vegan and gold-certified leather, recycled cork, wool, and rubber.

The large wooden table in the store is a focal point for conversations, idea exchange, and human connections, emphasizes Martin Evensen.
